The M4 Sherman as the main American medium tank from the Second World War. Produced in the years 1942-1945, it became the most recognizable American tank. It was constantly modified during the war. It was equipped with a 75 mm cannon. The ammunition and the flammable engine initially made the Shermans an easy target for the heavier German tanks. Only after the construction was refined could the roles be reversed. A total of approximately 49,000 of all versions of the Sherman were produced. The tank was used by, among others, the army of the USA, Great Britain, Poland, France and the USSR. It had a reputation as a reliable, easy-to-manufacture and well-armed tank.
The COBI block-based Sherman was produced in a large scale 1:28, which allows more details to be reproduced! The tank has a movable cannon, a rotating turret, an opening hatch and a working track system. All graphic details are high-quality prints that do not wear off even during intense play. The advantage is the design that uniquely reflects the original shapes of its historical inspiration. There are additional accessories on the tank that recreate the vehicle's and can be used by minifigures representing the tank's crew. Particularly noteworthy is the perfectly reproduced figure of the tank commander, in which you can see a hero worthy of the best war movies. The whole set is completed by a plate with the name of the tank printed on it.
Our tanks are perfect for mature enthusiasts of military technology and everyone, regardless of age, who loves history and construction! Build history, piece by piece, with COBI.
