A CLASSIC FISHING BOAT: MARE NOSTRUM

All Mediterranean fishing boats are of similar appearance, just presenting some differences on the design depending on the place they were built. The Mare Nostrum was built at the Spanish harbour of Arenys de Mar. It has an overall length of 15 meters, a beam of 3.5 meters with a displacement of 10 tons, powered by a 40HP diesel engine. 

Build the model of this mythical fishing ship of the Mediterranean Sea. This kit includes a DVD for computers or laptops (PC or Mac) with step-by-step instructions and a 1:1 scale printed plan.

MARE NOSTRUM MODEL

Designed for beginners and renewed by Artesanía Latina´s modelers, the new Mare Nostrum will also appeal to more experienced modelers thanks to all the fine details included in the kit. Our wooden model contains ice boxes, small cabins, a detailed engine, a winch and all the trawling gear.

This is the 1:35 scale MARE NOSTRUM by Latina. The Mare Nostrum is an all-wood
replica of a typical Mediterranean fishing trawler built at Arenys de Mar
harbor.
Latina rates the difficulty level at one anchor,
recommended for beginning modelers.
